Saving Sabre

Sabre is our beloved 5-year old lab-husky mix.  He has brought so much joy and love to our lives.  2 weeks ago Sabre underwent emergency surgery for GDV, a life-threatening condition where the stomach twists and flips (similar to colic in a horse).  His spleen was removed and his stomach repaired.

We are so grateful that he survived the surgery and he has been recovering well.  Unfortunately, his surgery and recovery has already cost $5,000.  Our family has struggled with job loss, illness, and other unforseen events and we have relied on family and credit cards to get us through this far.

When Sabre needed life-saving surgery, we did not hesitate.  He is a member of our family and we can't imagine life without him.  We said we would figure out a way to pay for it and our hope is that in reading his story you will consider donating to his medical costs.
