Saving “Porky” Zaijian Manzanilla Barairo Kidney Disease

I am Phebe Eunice Rodriguez, Godmoter or so called "Ninang" of Zaijan Manzanilla Barairo who's fighting his life against his kidney disease.

This little man is my husband's nephew from his cousin Romulo Sanchez Barairo Jr along with his wife Sybil Manzanilla Barairo.

His kidneys wasn't developed properly and was seen diring the mother's pregnancy; yet God allow him to surpass the trials inside his mother's womb and was given birth April 20, 2009.

His illness started to show up when he was five years old. He's undergone some serious doctor visits, check ups and tried medical treatments and a lot more.

Until his mother was told that he needs to undergone dialysis procedure, where her mother was able to do it herself to save mother from goibg to hospitals and travel far juat to do it three times a day. He's been undergoing the procedure for more than three years now.

For his parents and family's hope and much love, we are dping everything for his life to be extended for him to enjoy his childhood and at least enjoy his little brother that was just born three months ago.

His father is about to be home by next week to see him from work abroad as a seaman. Since he was undergoing dialysis proceedurethree times everyday, they donvt have funds to pay his hospitl bills to the point that the hospital had to approach the mother that they have to close their account and they will no longer provide meds to the child as they already reached P300,000+ bill.

His father was in a dilemma that their company will help them through, but he has to stay in their vessel so they will lend them whatever they need. But as his father's inatinct, he wanta to go home as his son needs him, waiting for him.

First time his father was able to get the information and seen hia son in his situation with apparatus everywhere sourounding his son, he cried out loud. A cry of pain and sorrow is what I have heard that it took me cried as well after seeing the child responded (though he responded late). He wiggle his feet, and arms, from being asleep, he was never openning hia eyes but when he heard hia fatjer's voice the second time, he openned his eyes nd look aroun dif he is there but he only seen him in his mother's cellphone in a video call since he is billion miles away.

His eyes looked to his father firmly, not koving and responding like he was very excited to see him.

My heart was broken with that scenario as we love him so much.

After their heartbreaking moment, the child closed his eyea again and hoping and waiting for his father since his father said, wait for him and they will be together again.

They are currently at Riverside Hospital in Bacolod Negros Occidental in Pedia Intensive Care Unit.
