Saving our mom – Lilian Illingworth

Update posted by Nikki Smit On Jan 24, 2018

For people following moms fight she battled for quiet a while with the Septicemia in her abdomen.

Thankfully was discharged out of hospital but still with alot of pain and very weak. Mom then landed back in the JHB GEN Hospital 2 weeks ago with severe pains in her abdomen. Tests run and bloods but still no signs for all fluid build up in her abdomen. Yesterday she underwent a diagnostic laprocopy to see what the cause of the fluids are from and if there are any traces of the cancer re-accuring. Thankfully at this stage they have only found 2 nodes on her liver and her liver is damaged which is treatable.

Now the long recovery journey ahead to get her strong and well.
