Saving Our Home

First off, thank you for taking the time to look at my story. It all started back in 4th grade when I was hit by a car. From that accident, I suffered a TBI (traumatic Brain Injury). Fast forward to January 2015, when I was granted full disability for depression, GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), PTSD and, agoraphobia. Things were going well until December 2016 when I got stuck on the side of the road all alone, while having a panic attack.This happened 2 days before we closed on our house. After that my ability to leave the house rapidly declined, to the point to where I couldn’t go into the yard without very high levels of anxiety. In May 2017, my wife had to leave her full-time job to take care of me and our son, because my mental health had gotten so bad. By her leaving her job, we went from two incomes, down to just my disability income.My disability income doesn’t even cover our mortgage payment.We have accumulated lots of debt because of this unfortunate situation.We are behind on mortgage payments, as well as other bills, and Rx/supplements for my condition are over $200 a month. It has been encouraged by both my social worker and therapist that I get a therapy dog.A therapy dog can cost 100's-1000's of dollars. My wife did start working from home in February 2018. We are struggling to get caught up on past due bills and stay current on our monthly bills at the same time. At this point I just want to get my family caught up and out of risk of losing our first, and hopefully forever, home.Thank you again for reading my story.
