SAVING MY UNIVERSITY DEGREE

I am a simple girl trying to make it on my own. I found my passion and i am willing to fight for it.

I am just finishing ny first year as an international student here in Spain and i an trying as hard as i can to make it possible to stay here and finish the degree.

I moved to Spain 2 years ago with a goal. I learned the language from zero, got a job as a receptionist at a really nice hotel and got accepted into a fashion design university. It wasn’t easy, that is for sure, but i am stronger now then i was 2 years ago.

This is not my first run, to put it this way. I studied before, Electrical engineering for 2.5 years, until i finally knew i have to follow my dream and stop living for others. With no financial support, nor emotional, i made this change.

As it is an expensive degree, i was only able to pay this years tuition with some help and very hard work. Unfortunately, i had to leave my job recently, due to timing difficulties, and therefore i am looking at the moment for another position More suitable. In any case, i will not be receiving any help for the years to come which means that if i will not find the sufficient funds until the beginning of September, i will probably not be able to continue..

The money i hope to be raising will help me pay next years tuition and get one step closer to having the degree in my hand and start working in my field. It will also offer me the opportunity to take unpaid internships which are a great opportunity to move forward and find paid positions.
