Saving my grandmother’s house.

Hello I'm Oscar I'm from Colombia and I'm a 29 years old man looking for a helping hand with a critical situation that just came out to my family, I wouldn't be here if it were something that I could help them on my own but this is completly out of my hands to be handled.

The situation is that my grandmother helped a family member a few years back as a guarantor of a loan he made to solve some economical issues he had, he was paying his debt for a long time now and unfortunately he passed away recently and no one else was paying for that debt, after 5 months of the last time he payed the bank that had the debt with him reached to my grandmother since she was figuring out there as a guarantor for the debt and baiscally told her that since he was missing they were going to put the debt on her and if in case she doesn't pay it they would take her house to cover the debt.

Unfortunately none of us in the family knew about this until last week when she told me crying giving me and my brother this bad news; the bank is right now asking for the total ammount of the debt so she can keep her house or at least the ammount that is due of this last 5 months that was not being covered and continue paying the rest of the debt throughout the next year.

As right now we have until the end of October to cover the 5 missing months payments wich would be a total of 9'585.000 colombian pesos (2.583 USD) or to fully cover the total of the debt that's missing which would be 23'000.000 colombian pesos (6.200 USD). In other conditions I would somehow try to raise the money myself to help her pay and that way save her house, but for the last 6 months I have been unable to work because I lost my right ear audition from an infection and that caused me to lose my job as an english interpreter and with this pandemic and the lockdown that our country have been going through I been unable to find something else for now, so this makes it completly imposible for me to help my grandmother at this moment.

In my family is just my 2 younger brothers, our grandma and our two great grandparents and me and we been living all together at her house, the only one who works and is our main economical support right now is my younger brother who fortunatelly has been able to keep his job during this pandemic and we been able to survive with his income which is not much but is been enough to keep us all up.

So since we don't have anyone else to go to for to ask for an aid and unfortunatelly our country is not in a good moment there's no economical aids that we could apply through our goverment or anything else, I tried checking out with a bank for a loan to cover it but since I don't have a job they won't lend me any and this is the main reason I came here because we have run out of options, hoping that some of you good hearted people could help us to help me save my grandmas house either by sharing this or donating, this would be a huge help to all my family and we would always appreciate it.

Any one who want to help us I'll be forever grateful and I hope that any ammount that you put in this for us you get back multiplied a thousand times and that God always look after you. Lastly I want to add that any extra ammount over the goal I've set that get to this campaing I'll make sure to find someone else who could need a helping hand here in our city and I'll personally give it out to them in the form of anything that they need, either food, esentials or payment of their bills and will upload pictures of that for all of you in here so you can also get to see who you have reached to.
