Saving “Davina”

Miss "Davina"s story sadly is not much different then some others. This beautiful soul was dumped at a S.Florida airport in horrid condition.

Her open wounds alone caused so much swelling that her skin is stretched and hanging below her neck. Miss Davina has an easily treatable - when it starts condition called Demodex Mange. When left untreated it continues to ravage the skin, causing secondary bacterial infections of the skin/eyes and immune system, eventually leading into large open wounds from scratching,stretching and sloughing off.

Miss Davina will need daily medications, medicated baths and treatment until her skin is healed, and she is healthy enough to get full vetting such as spaying etc to find a forever home. Miss Davina has a long road ahead of her, but with all of us fighting by her side she knows she is no longer alone and worth saving!
