Campaign Story
My Father was diagnosed with Uremia, Chronic Kidney Disease Stage V last July 17, 2017. He is undergoing Hemodialysis with temporary access(Femoral). His condition with his kidneys has affected his lungs and heart.
We have been staying in the ICU for more than a month now and are hopeful his condition will get better. He will be undergoing another round of surgery in order to have permanent access for Dialysis this time around. However the blood clot in my father's vein, a Fitsula(an access made by joining an artery and vein in your arm) is not possible at this time. The surgeons have suggested to insert a Graft( an access made by using a piece of soft tube to join an artery and vein in your arm.) instead as a permanent access.
He is a father to five children. A grandfather to one. A soldier who fought for his country. He is a great man. A wonderful man. A loving father. Now, he is fighting his biggest battle. We have been fighting this battle alongside him and now we humbly ask for your help to help him win this.
Any amount will do and it will be a big help for us.

Update posted by Sheryl Melencion at 03:38 pmHi everyone! My father went to National Kidney Transplant Institute for his cardiovascular ultrasound to identify if his veins in the left arm it is capable for graft insertion. After 2 days, we received the result and it was not a good news, because the veins are too narrow to insert. . . . .
