Saving a Savior: My Dad

Rodrigo C. Pineda known as "Popoy " to family members and friends, my Dad is 58 years old and has been a great father for the 33 years we have been together.

My Dad is Smart. He knows the most random stuffs. He's always dropping the little facts about everything. He is into politics and sensible TV Series and shows. He used to be a Math Teacher at Don Bosco Technical Institute. Most of his students are now Doctors,Lawyers and Government officials. They say that my dad was very strict, some of his students dissed him until now but mostly Thanked him for not cutting them any slack when they are young and that let them to do their best.

He saved a lot of young souls when he was a teacher and now we are asking everyone's help to save his.

He was currently diagnosed with PKD stage 4. Polysistic Kidney Disease. We have been making ends meet for his 3 times a week dialysis and medication but we wanted to extend his life in any best way we can.

Yes, we wanted him to have a kidney transplant. One thing I dont understand is why saving someone's life cost more than a regular person can pay. And why some doctor's (usually the best ones) can't do it for free. I think that's wrong.

'My Dad said he doesn't want our lives to stop because of him.But as what we always say Living without him is not living at all.

Please help us save the life of our Savior.
