Help Build a Tuition Centre for Underprivileged Children in Rural Village

WHY A TUITION CENTRE FOR RURAL KIDS?

Most of villagers in suburb Northern Malaysia live in poverty, surrounded by 100% nature, main job as a rubber tapper and farmer inherited from previous generations, some never had any chances for school, tuition or extra classes, also, lack of volunteering teacher available in the area. A poor facilities and transportation system whereby you may see only bus operating in small schedule; let alone GrabCar, Uber, LRT or commuter- the village doesn't has even a proper bus stop. Also, only limited branches of bank operates in the nearest town, low internet coverage, barely see school van, very limited and near to no extra class (extra class is similar to tuition class but it usually being conducted by school teacher at primary/secondary school). If you wonder, this village has a scattered houses style; located every where at their owned land randomly, some are too far to get accessed to the main road, forget about library or mini bookstore in the village or tonnes of reading materials available, and so the list will goes on. You will experience them if you visit this village - those are some circumstances and difficulties that could make everyone in the developed countries - Yes, this living underprivileged does exist today in my very own hometown, a small rural village in Kedah. Well, the last census done many years ago by local government, the population of the village is apprx. 1200 families.

Deep down inside I know people long for education and guidance but they do not afford to. Well, the idea of building this free tuition classroom for kids has been in my mind since 10 years ago.

WHY A HOSTEL FOR VOLUNTEER?

2019 - exactly in January this year..the idea came in haunting me again and again. Finally, in April 2019 (I've forgotten the exact date & day), I've made a big decision and decided to dedicate my own land to build a free classroom (tuition centre) for the children and also o build a hostel or homestay for volunteers to teach the kids a few important subjects like English, Mathematics and Science, Computer skill, Programming etc. If God wills and fund coming in unabatedly, soon after the classroom been built with all the furniture and teaching materials ready, subsequently volunteers can register and prove their skills before volunteering at this place. I mean there are some screening test, hold at least diploma or cert in English Education or Teaching with at least 1 year teaching experience..but the most important thing to seek for is their willingness to volunteer in rural place. Volunteers mean, not only local volunteer, but abroad volunteers are also welcome. You, yes you the one who read this also can register to become a volunteer at this charity project. As long as you're willing to pay for your own returning flight ticket and as a host, I will consider to provide you food and stay. More rules coming soon (it's just too early to explain now, but if you are agree on these simple rules then we have a deal later. Now, it's time to help me spread this crowdfunding, if possible to make it viral to help me achieve the target goal.
