Save Sujith and his family from homelessness

The campaign concerns a family of 5 that will become homeless, if we don’t take action. The Family of Sujith struck a disastrous fate when the young couple wanted to build their own first home on the hillside of Weligama 11 years ago. The Fisherman put all his hard-earned money into the construction of his home. During that time his business fell apart due to an Oil tank disaster the changing climate. Thus, the daily fishing job turned into a seasonal work (just 6 months in one year). Due to this drastic reduction of income his family had to stop the construction and move into the house of his brother, where his parents already lived. The short-term solution turned into a long-term living situation. The couple has grown into a family of 5 and has outgrown their 13qm room. The unfinished house is slowly decaying and due to the marriage of his brother the family will be thrown out of the house of his brother. To avoid homelessness the family wishes to live in their own home. We as the the Savi Jaya Development Foundation want to help this family to escape this living situation and the upcoming homelessness but can only succeed with the help of donations.So please donate now to save Sujith and his family!
