#saveourchildren Through Music!

I am a husband and a father of two (soon to be three) and I am also a teacher- I teach hip hop dancing to kids and use it as an effective tool to engage with them and teach them how to use their talents for good causes.
As a father and someone who is concerned for the future of our children, I felt that there needs to be a change in the narrative regarding the music and video content that our children are being exposed to. The messages in the lyrics and videos are harmful to their minds, to their cognitive development which then impacts their social behavior. The music that's popular among the youth encourages the wrong kinds of messages and obscenity; everything from rebellion to sexual promiscuity, drugs and alcohol abuse, etc. I know that these things have been around in music and entertainment for a very long time and it's nothing new, it just feels like it's a lot more uncensored now. I hope to be able to offer them a better alternative, music with better messages, wholesome content, uplifting and encouraging positive behavior and thinking.
In addition to that, there are many other reasons as to why I do what I do and hope to make this project a success. Fighting against depression/anxiety and joining the cause of #saveourchildren to fight against child and human trafficking are also a top priority to me and I'm looking for like minded individuals to help me in this fight or at the very least help me make an impact through the music I create by supporting my efforts.
I hope to achieve my goal in raising the funds needed within the next two weeks so that I may begin to allocate the costs where necessary to have a music video done by the end of October and an album released by the end of November. Therefore it is of utmost importance to have the funds raised as quickly as possible.
