This is my baby boi, Mocca. He is a 12 and a half year old Shih Tzu. He was recently hospitalized for spleen tumor and undergone a spleen removal operation to save his life, but during the op, the vets found more issues with his liver (Hepatitis B), as well as possible heart issues. He has been hospitalized for 5 days, and is currently in intensive care. The vets say he will have to remain in the hospital for at least another 4-5 days to monitor his condition.

While we are glad to see his condition is very slowly improving, the surgery and hospital costs are slowly accumulating over the last few days. Additionally, he will still need to be put on medication after post-op care. The last 5 days of hospitalization, medication, and surgery fees have amounted to 4000SGD so far and my family is struggling to cope. By the end of the week, the total hospital bill will probably be in the range of 5000SGD. We hope he will make a quick recovery, and we will not have to take him out of intensive care due to our financial limitations.
