Save Matvei Zabavsky from Grodno, Belarus

I spoke with Matvei's parents yesterday. Family members were visiting them this weekend in Borovliany before the departure to Israel for evaluation this week. They sent me a few pictures (I posted them) of Matvei along with MANY MANY THANKS for people who are supportive!

Best,

Maryna

I contacted Boston Children's Hospital and Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital and they replied. I will pass this information to parents tomorrow, it's good to have choices and hear other professional opinions even though they found a doctor in Israel.

This is great that you are trying to help them to get 2nd opinion and find out if there is an option to treat Matvei in the US.

Thank you so much for all your support, good words and very generous donations for Matvei. Diana and Aleksei are extremely thankful for your support and they have no words to describe their appreciation!!! I was in touch with her yesterday at night and I will try to connect with her tomorrow. Unfortunately today she wasn’t replying . I will continue updating you with more significant information regarding what is going on, its very hard to keep in touch with them due to so many reasons!!!! Best, Maryna

Hello! My name is mohammed and I am 22 years old. Four years ago, shortly after my eighteenth birthday, my life was turned upside down by horrible news. I had been working in construction for a few months when I felt severe pain in my right knee. At first I thought it was a sprain, but in September 2013, I decided to seek medical help. That’s when I learned that cancer had hit me full force and not just any cancer, but Ewing’s sarcoma with metastases, in other words, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. Without missing a beat, I started my first chemotherapy treatment that lasted one year, but which did not give the results we had hoped for.
