Help Me Save Mama

This fundraiser is for my Mama who is currently suffering from and living everyday in fear of her thrombosed aneurysm in her brain. Now, I ain't no one special nor do I claim my need and my Mama's to be greater than anyone elses. I'm just a boy, a son, an only child, trying to save the one and only true thing he holds dearest to his heart, his Mama. You can have many sons, you can have another husband, another wife and so on, but the one thing you can't have more of is a mother. It's just a fact. In this case, my Mama probably didn't get as many as she'd like but, she did get one, me. I didn't get as far as I'd like to get in life nor did I even try to go and get as far as my Mama may have hoped me to. This one is on me. Had I known I would've pushed paper behind the lit screen of a laptop rather than roll around the grease underneath Papa's old Buick and rummaging in his toolbox. In other words, I'm far from the perfect son. Everything I have been doing for these past years was keep the roof over our head, the stove burning and keeping our stomachs warm with food. As I said, I didn't get the high paying job most folks would hope their'd son have but, I work hard. I have a job but unfortunately what I do ain't enough to pay for Mama's aneurysm. Just enough for rent, utilities and food. I know it ain't much but, it's honest work. My Pops has long retired and sadly without any money and Mama devoted her life raising me, her one kid despite having graduated dentistry. That's something I believe no college degree would ever pay for. A mother's love is an everyday miracle and an everyday grace. There ain't nothing in the world like a Mama's love. I'm one of the blessed ones to have received one from God.

I'm here now hoping to appeal to you good folk and those who still think me and my Mama kin. Because this is something beyond what one good ole boy can do. Allow me to touch your hearts so that I can save my Mama. I know I don't prove much of a point speaking English in our country but I can't help what I was raised around. The time's Papa could provide are long gone and he done some mistakes and missed a few queues but nobody's perfect and I never once held that against him. He did what any real man would. Provide and nurture his wife and kids. I just happened to pick up the reigns at bad time. I been holding on and providing for my Mama and Papa the best one can do with what little feats I done since I was knee high to a grasshopper. However, this thrombosed aneurysm Mama got ain't something I can easily overcome and what makes matters even more pressing is that it's getting bigger the longer it goes on. She's losing her vision and we fear that it may rupture as it grows. What she needs is to have a cerebral catheter angiogram and for it to be operated on which was estimated to cost around 500-600k. That's more than I can dream of making in due time. I know it maybe hard to believe that I'm the only family and relative she's got, but I am. That's just it. Me, my Mama and Pops. We have been a trio my whole entire life. Mama and Papa and their only boy. Being an only child may seem like a dream to some but it's an absolute nightmare in times like this as all I've got are myself and these hands for toil. Mama's got one kid and I believe she'd still want to see her grand kids down the line. I've got no siblings to depend on and that's a fact, but I know that I've been blessed with brothers and sisters in Christ who I pray would come to aid my Mama. Please, help me save Mama. She's the sweetest thing in the world, and without her I don't exist. My brothers and sisters in the lord I raise my hands in prayer that you may donate whatever little amount you may to help save my Mama. Mama, I love you.
