This is Kiko, a stray dog that happened to pass by our house in late December. Aside from being malnourished and dehydrated, Kiko‘s scaly skin is riddled with wounds that attract flies.

Trust me when I say that it pains us to not get him out of the streets. As much as we’d love to shelter this charming being, it would be irresponsible on our part to adopt a dog without the assurance of faithfully providing the care it needs. We are able to give him food on a daily basis, but we lack the funds to get him the right medicine/s and a visit to the vet.
