Following extended periods of fiscal turmoil and governance issues, the Namibian airline, Air Namibia, is on the brink of liquidation. This will result in more than 700 job loses, exacerbating the unemployment crisis in Namibia. This is especially worrisome in the COVID19 era as many industries have already seen either partial or total shutdown while others are barely holding head above water.

The Airline needs 9 million euros to settle its debt with Challenge Air and survive liquidation. While this figure is high and we might not reach the target on deadline, we are hoping we can raise enough to convince the Namibian president to meet us halfway and reverse this erroneous undertaking.

Please help us save the airline and thereby save countless ordinary citizens who had no bearing on decisions made by politics.
