Save Wild Hearts Rescue Ranch

Wild Hearts is a place of love and healing for criminally abused, neglected, abandoned and exploited equines and swine. Our ranch has been the life or death, suffering or surviving difference for many animals and people alike. Wild Hearts has been on a Wild Ride this year, with the owner investing time in a new job, several changes of management in her absence, and lots of ups and downs. We were faced with an offer to pay off the property, and be funded for a year, but now that opportunity is fading. We are afraid. Efforts to stabilize the ranch have gotten us almost to the finish line of debt, and then lulls in funding and donations pile it right back up. This unforseen nightmare of circumstance has pushed us to the brink of closeur before, and we are there again. This is by far our largest fundraiser ever, and we will be doing all we can to get it as much visibility as possible, as it is our last hope to restructure, re-establish, and carry on. If the community wants this program to survive, we will. If not. We won't. All the bills are late seconded to feed and veterinary needs, the farrier, and people to care for the animals in the absence of the owner while she tries to work enough to save the ranch.

A message from Jessica: I just spent our last 186.00 on hay. We have zero dollars, could be weeks from funding, and having issues with that related to our inability to get out of debt, possibly creating delays, and we are losing hope. If we cannot remediate our situation in a matter of two weeks, we will simply close. Hopefully we can regain the confidence of those willing to fund the program in the future and reopen. We have hoped that funding would open long before now, but delays out of our control and our inability to rise completely above our debt and remain out of debt continues to snowball. I have been struggling with the choice to shut the doors, send everyone home and find emergency placement for the current residents, and that fear is ever growing. Please consider a donation. The nine horses, one donkey, and potbelly pigs currently sanctuaried at the rescue are currently healthy, feet are trimmed and we have about a week of feed. The ranch bills have piled up mercilessly without doing intake. We are closed to intake until we are funded, but that is feeling more distant as difficulties grow. I am so tired, terrified and exhausted I cry instead of sleep. Everything I do to work harder or try to dig us out blows up in my face. Please help. This is our final SOS. If we cannot stabilize and survive until we find our way, we won't be here anymore.
