About 4,000 women die from pregnancy and childbirth related complications every year In Uganda. Every minute of every day a woman dies during pregnancy or childbirth. One of every 25 pregnant women in Uganda faces a life time risk of pregnancy related death.

We appeal to you to support measures that promote maternal and child health by fighting poverty, improving the conditions of health facilities because no woman deserves to die while giving life.
