Save Toughy

Toughy@ Whitey was one of the 6 little pups that I have been feeding ever since I first saw him and his other siblings following his mummy on the deserted street looking for food one late evening at the beginning of MCO in Apr last year. He was probably less than 2 months old then as he was for tiny. Ever since then I had been feeding him and all his other siblings daily. Whitey was always the timid little one which was bullied by the rest of his pack till the very day he was rescued after he had been severely injured in an accident. His whole spine is fractured n the surgery is extremely risky for him.

He would always be waiting for me at the back of World City where I would place a packet of rice for him under the tree after feeding the older dogs at the opposite side of the road. These dogs will follow me to the place although I switched off my headlamps . Whitey will only come out to eat after I leave the food n I usually hear his cries when I was about to drive away.

I found him missing on my daily feeds n was told by a friend a week later that Whitey was badly injured on the 16th January n was rescued by another rescuer n sent Cuddles Hospital that same nite . Seeing his serious vondirion Doctor had advised to PTS him but rescuer refused to because Whitey is such a young dog . I felt extremely upset when I learnt that he could never ever walk again. I went to visit him at the vet n looking at him n patting him for the very 1st time melted heart. He even licked my hands and that's when I couldn't hold back my tears.

Being a SAMA feeder I had appealed for their help to fund raise for Toughy @ Whitey . SAMA being an NGO which does TNR has agreed to help but we are still short due to massive medical bills for other sama rescue cases
