These semi wild horses in Mani, Southern Greece have been abandoned and have been wondering the lands for months. One male, the father, got his foot trapped in an animal trap. The injury is currently untreated, and a farmer has kindly offered them temporary shelter on his land. However, they need to be taken by the Greek Horse Protection Society (Hellenic Society For Equine Welfare) in order to be given the proper professional care that they need. There are costs associated with picking them up, veterinary exams, making them healthy for adoption, and treating injuries.
Any donations are greatly appreciated to save the lives of these poor horses! The injured stallion needs surgery and extra special care. The Greek Horse Protection Society is a non-profit, volunteer led organisation, they are very low on funds, they need any help they can get with supporting these animals.
Please help us provide a future for these beautiful animals!
