SAVE The Swan’s Island Stray Cats

For years Swan's Island Maine has had a major Stray Cat problem because they repopulate like crazy. I seem to be the only one that cares on the Island and I need help to help these animals. I am going to be doing the Trap Neuter Release Program so they will be no longer able to repopulate. I Started to do this program last year with the kittens because I didnt have the money to be able to fix any adult, Instead I caught the kittens tamed them and adopted them out into good homes which signed contracts saying the kittens will be fixed by the age of 6 months!  Last year I saved over 53 kittens and There is more out there that need my help, but I need your help. I am an animal lover. I have gone though Vet Assistant College and Pet Massage School and seeing those poor cats out there breaks my heart. I see them every day running across the road. Swan's Island, Maine is a very small Island 350 people year around and over 1000 people in the summer and half the time thats when we get the strays, because the summer people have to leave to make the ferry boat, to go home and their cat has not come in from being out side yet and then they just leave them here. Its very sad. I have seen it so many times. I personly would miss a boat and catch the next one to make sure I take my cat with me. I coult not just leave my cat.
