SAVE THE SPORTSMAN
Singapore’s live music bar, fondly known as The Sportsman Bar is facing imminent closure. After a difficult year, we will close our doors if we cannot raise (SGD) $32,000.00 by Monday 4 December 2017.
The Sportsman is 19 years old. In the past 8 years, The Sportsman has provided Singapore’s leading musicians a playground to develop their craft and improve their showmanship. Let’s not let this unique Singapore institution vanish.
We need your help. From Wednesday 29 November 2017 and nightly till Sunday 3 December 2017 we will hold a 5-night celebration featuring Singapore’s leading musicians and their friends. We want you to join with us in this celebration of the Sportsman Bar, famous for its live music, warm atmosphere, friendly staff and clientele. Wednesday 29 November - Quiz Night is still on.
We will announce the full line-up of performers shortly. It goes without saying the electric "Crozzroads" will be on hand every night to get you grooving – singers and jammers will be welcome to jump in with the boys.
