Save the LIFE of Evelyn Ballesteros Morales

It all started when my Mom experienced headache and ear pain. Everybody thought it was just Vertigo because the pain is being relieved by pain relievers. However, on the 28th of November 2018 at 12:30 AM she was not able to control the pain and decided to rush in the nearest hospital Bulaon District Hospital City of San Fernando Pampanga). She became unconscious for about 10 minutes but woke up without any loss of memory and normal movement and response of her senses and body. She underwent CTscan and found out that there's an ACUTE SUBARACHNOID HEMORRHAGE and minimal to moderate communicating hydrocephalus.

The family was advised by the physicians of Bulaon District Hospital to transfer her to The Medical City Clark for her to be seen by specialists/Neurologists. Another procedure was done which is the CT Angiogram with contrast for better visibility of the veins in her brain. It was then confirmed that she has Aneurysm but they couldn’t find the source of the blood and fluid. We were given options to cure the problem, which are Surgical Coiling or Surgical Clipping.

Before doing so, the doctors need to conduct another procedure to find the exact location of the Aneurysm which is the 4V Angiogram and a possibility of conducting the Surgical Coiling to prevent having an open brain surgery. It was then conducted but found out that coiling is not possible because the location of the Aneurysm in on the inner lower part of the brain in a curve part of the vessels as it may damage the vein causing to re-rupture of the Aneurysm.

The Doctors explained that there’s another procedure that can be done but it wll be more risky and complicated and needed an apparatus(brain Microscope) since they will be doing a brain Bypass and double clipping.

As we go to our last resort, which is the open brain surgery which may lead to a lot of complications and risks, we are asking for your prayers and financial assistance as this is a battle that we all want to win and to save the life of my Mom.

Now we will be transferring to UERM Service Hospital in Quezon City to undergo double clipping and bypass since they have all the apparatus needed, there will be no professional fee but will just pay for the procedure and outright payment of all the medicines needed every day and the clip needed.
