SaVe The LasT WorD!

The LasT WorD is a monthly live arts and performance event where local, regional and nationally acclaimed artists, representing many diverse Philadelphia communities perform in front of an eager, passionate and often equally diverse and participatory audience. Since 2009 the LasT WorD has been an outlet for various arts groups and individuals seeking a lively and organic live arts event. Unfortunately a series of unexpected circumstances have left the our groundbreaking show without a home. 

While the search for an unknown arsonist continues, the LasT WorD has been left without a permanent home. Investigators have determined that the blaze which prematurely ended the LasT WorD on April 19th, was deliberately set. They are seeking the public’s help to provide a break in the case, saying that any information, now matter how insignificant it may seem, can help.

There are two ways to help:

•  Share this page along with your version of the April 19th event on facebook.  Any information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a $5000 reward.

• Donate whatever you may be able to spare to help the LasT WorD secure a new safe and permanent space.
