Save the forest, Save the world

Wood has been used as a raw material of making papers and construction materials since ancient time. The demand of natural wood has been increasing but the existed rainforest is not going to be enough for the needs by humans Even though recycling is one of the most popular way for sustaining  but simply it is just not enough to meet the demand of woods so we need a solution for that. Luckily, we have got one.

Despite the way to request residents to recycle papers, we have got another way to solve this problem that is to do with the supply side. In this way we can meet our needs without harming the environment and achieve sustainable development.

We are going to plant trees in order to increase the supply of wood and we predict that is going to be a trend for the demand of wood in the future.

We are going to set up website and Facebook page that is going to be called planting in Taiwan so that you can leave comments and suggestions to us. Also, you will know what we have done by the time the project has started.

What are we aiming for?
We are seeking for a better way to meet the consumption of natural resources and give out solutions that could achieve sustainable development.

Why in Taiwan?
It has an ideal geographical location as well as weather. The technology is good enough for us to start our project and residents there have a good sense of protecting environment.

What type of tree?
Populous Alba

 What so special about Populous Alba?
It is a fast-growing tree. 3-year tree can be used to produce papers, 5-year tree can be used for construction and 10-year tree can be used for construction materials. It does not require a lot of rainfall and it can be grown in sub-tropical zone. The leaves of them can be used as food for animals.

Donations are needed in the first place in order to kick off our plan. You can also leave comments to us in order to help us to make our plan better.

 How do you as a consumer know the product that you are purchasing is the wood that grown by us?
We are going to cooperate with world famous brands that consume large amount of wood and we are going to put labels on as well so that you can know what is being produced by us.

What are we going to do with the profit that we have earned?
We will expand our idea worldwide so we can create jobs and save the forest at the same time.

 Lacking of funds is the biggest problem in the current stage so please donate to us in order to start this project. Every dollar you spend will help us to achieve our idea and save our planet, the only place that we can live at the moment. In addition, large amount of money is required because we want it to be in a large scale.
