The famous Masai tribe located in East Africa is known to reside within most national Parks in Kenya and Tanzania. For nearly five months the world famous Masai Mara national reserve located in Kenya has been covered in a cloud of loneliness with the Covid 19 pandemic forcing tourists to stay away, with their absence money generated through the visits to the Park has been relatively so scarce. The local Masai communities located within the park who have for so long survived on the income generated through visits to this Park are now facing great challenges to include; lack of food, basic needs, failure to access scholastic materials only to mention but a few. This tribe were known to be hunters and gatherers who lived a nomadic life but have slowly adopted a settled life over the years. With the challenges they are facing today the Masai Mara Conservacy has recorded a high rate in poaching activities with the Park. We are afraid the Locals have resorted to illegal hunting wildlife with in the park to get food. This initiative to support Masai Communities through providing them with food, basic needs and scholastic materials has been started by Masai Mara Holidays, a Safari Company majorly dealing in African Safaris to this Great National Park. You can as well donate to this cause by booking a Safari with the company as it offers 10% of all profit generated off Safaris back to these communities. Let's Save Struggling Masai Communities to Save Wildlife
