In a bid to show my two young siblings how they can be helpful to the needy with the little money they had collected in their piggy banks the previous year, I went to the grocery store and bought seeds to start a garden. I am the second born child in my family with two siblings that follow me, (Sarah and Abudallah). My name is Jaliah Nabbowa by the way and we all live in Uganda.

Abudallah, Sarah and me(Jaliah)

However, since our home is the kind that has no gardening space, we looked around the home and went to neighbors too and collected old basins and tins to start new plant growth. I then tasked my siblings (Sarah and Abudallah) to look for soil and bring it home which they happily did.

We managed to plant the seeds on the 18th of January and they germinated gracefully. Every morning, we would wake up at 5 am before they prepared to go to school and we would water these plants together, happily and would do the same every evening they returned from school.

However, the plants started turning yellow last week.

The little paradise for the needy has started wilting and even after we transplanted them to bigger containers.he plants have now outgrown the containers and need to be transferred to the garden.

The only challenge we have now is the fact that we do not have enough money to purchase land to transplant these crops. If we do not transplant them to a bigger place, they will soon die and our entire efforts plus plans of giving 100% of the profits to the needy will all go in vain.

Plus, new land will enable us plant more crops for higher yields thus doubling our intended plan. So please part of this new movement and bless not just one but many children in Uganda who have nothing to eat.

How will I make this possible?

-I am a graduate with certificates in agriculture, that is why I advised my siblings to invest in this field. I thus shall implore modern and traditional farming techniques to ensure high yields. We shall then sell some of the crops so that we get money to buy for these needy children products like sugar which we won't be able to grow.

Conclusion

I am humbly requesting you to support us in any way that you can so that we can get farm land.

May God richly bless you with your hearts wishes as you make us smile again.

We shall share pictures and updates of the purchased farm land after acquiring it.

Thank you.
