Campaign Story
Please help Sammie! Sam was rescued from a situation where she was constantly tied on a short rope and never allowed to run. Her foster family was unable to keep her, and released her to another foster family to work more intensively with her. She escaped from their yard, and is in the El Dorado County Animal Shelter. They have given her family until Saturday to raise the money to release her; otherwise, they will euthanize her. The foster family does not have the money for impound fines, as they are charging an absurd amount (over $300)! Any donation will be so appreciated. Please share with friends if you are unable to contribute!
I express mailed a check to the shelter today! It will be there tomorrow by noon. Sammie's foster family will be there to pick her up tomorrow afternoon! Thanks so much to everyone who contributed, or passed along the information to friends and family! I am amazed at the generosity I have witnessed in the past 24 hours.
