CA$20,015raised of $20,000.00 goal
This is Ryder, a 3 year old Labrador. After being stolen he was brutally beaten, and stabbed with scissors in the face. There were also pieces of jewellery shoved in his eye, lighters and other objects shoved down his throat. He is now in desperate need of your help as he is fighting for his life and without financial help may not make it another 24 hours.

The next 24 hours are critical, most importantly to give him the care the he needs to survive but also to save his eye which will require a specialist and is very costly. Any donation small or big will be very appreciated, THANK YOU!
We are very happy to report that Ryder is getting the best care possible and we have all of you caring people to thank! We are blown away by the support and kind words!
We had one of the best eye specialist use new technology and it looks like his eye will recover. Of course at this time, we don't know the long term damage but the vets are all doing their best and because he is still young, he should fully recover.
He is such a happy dog and shows it to everyone who has come to see him. Thank you for being part of that happiness that he can still manage to find despite what he went through.
We will update again as soon as we know more.
Any extra funds will be donated to BC SPCA, to help other animals like Ryder.
*Update* Part 2. 17/02/15
We have now closed the donations as we have received more than enough to help Ryder's recovery. As mentioned earlier we will be donating any surplus to BC SPCA, if you wish to donate to other victims of animal cruelty please donate directly on www.spca.bc.ca where you will be able to direct your donation specifically to Animal Cruelty Prevention and Enforcement. We will continue to post updates on Ryder's progress in the coming days. Please continue to leave nice comments and well wishes for him as his family really appreciate all the support. Thank you all so much again for your kindness and generosity.
