Save Puppy Berlin

Berlin, our new puppy, is an 11 week old Dachshund cross Chihuahua.  He is a playful little guy with true puppy dog ears & eyes. After getting Berlin a few weeks ago, we took him to the vet to get him checked out and they notified us of his grade 4 heart murmur.  Seeing how there is only 5 grades of a murmur, this was quite a serious case.  We were advised to take him to a cardiologist once he is older to operate.  

After letting a couple of weeks go by we noticed his condition worsened and today we took him back to the vet today.  His heart murmur has progressed him to a stage 3 (of 4) heart failure and we need to operate ASAP to save his life.  Because his heart has been working overtime to overcompensate for the lack of blood flow, his heart size has doubled, cutting off his airways, and making it hard for him to breathe.   

Although we have only had Berlin for 3 weeks, we are so attached and cannot imagine him not being in our lives.  This money would help cover the cost of his $4000 surgery we cannot afford on our own.  Any amount would help save this little puppy's life.
