During the quarantine no tourists have been able to enter Peru. However, expenses to keep the workers on duty, to buy the animals food, to get emergency medical attention and general on- site maintenance had to continue. There has been no income due to the pandemic crisis and the centre is now facing extreme hardship. There are several adult ocelots, a new baby jaguar and an adult fullgrown jaguar, also many types of monkeys, sloths, toucan, tapir, and whatever gets taken to her centre in times of emergency. Please help support this unique rescue centre for wild forest animals.

  • Thank you for doing this. One of my favorite places in the area. I wish I could do a lot more.
