Save our souls

1. My name is Simamkele Kango and I am 25 years old. I started this support group because of realising how much young people in our country are sinking into depression.

With the amount of suicide cases arising in our country, I took it upon myself to open a support group in my community to support people who are suffering from depression and anxiety. We hold sessions everyday at 4 p.m. and we use my father's garage in the meantime because we don't have enough money to rent out space in our community hall. The donation money will be used to rent out space at a local community hall for our sessions, buy more chairs and provide refreshments for the group members. The rest of the donation money will go towards helping people around our community who are financially disadvantaged with some basic needs especially food and toiletries. We would appreciate all the help that we can get to make this project a success.
