Save Our Schoolies

Our team at Milnerton Riding School, are not only passionate about horses and riding, but they started their riding careers at a very young age and felt the need to give other children the same opportunity to discover the wonderful world of horses. Not only do we teach lessons but we also assist in equine therapy for Seal College who is a school for the intellectually challenged.

Our horses and ponies mean the world to us. They bring so much joy to many children and adults. And all we want is to share our passion with you. During this lockdown we are unable to operate and while our horses and ponies are enjoying their holiday, we just cannot keep up with the cost of feeding. With no income this is proving to be a real challenge.

We ask that you take the time to read up on our amazing horses and ponies and donate any amount you can to help us keep them fed.

It costs us R55 to feed each horse per day. This means to feed one horse for a week it costs us R385 and monthly it costs us R1750. We have 13 horses and ponies at the riding school. This means just to feed the horses it costs us R22 165 per month. This doesn't include the costings of their beddings as well as wages for the grooms.
