Campaign Story
Dear Compassionate Friends,
We at Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary are pleading for help from animal lovers worldwide. We urgently need your help to keep our doors open. Our beloved sanctuary, nestled in the heart of rural Sangkhlaburi, Thailand, is currently unsustainable after losing a major sponsor. This is where you can help. The future of 25 precious lives, our local clinic, and the countless animals depends on you. Thanks to 7 new monthly sponsors, and 2 current sponsors upping their donations we now have $125 LESS to raise each month. Together we ARE stronger, but we still have some work to do. If you love animals like we do, please keep reading..
Why We Need Your Support:
25 Dogs in Desperate Need: Our sanctuary is home to 25 loving dogs who have found refuge from the harsh streets. Without us, they would be homeless and vulnerable, or worse. Dogs like Walter and Ivy who are nervous beyond measure when not safe in their pen with each other, and Sweetie the inspirational girl who learned to walk again with the tireless efforts of volunteers!
Critical Medical Care: Our clinic provides essential medical attention to animals who would otherwise suffer needlessly. Your support ensures we can continue to cure ailments, heal wounds, and provide lifesaving emergency surgeries. Sangkhlaburi is not a rich area and for many families and all of the street animals, we are their last hope.
Sterilization for a Brighter Future: We actively contribute to our community's welfare by organizing spay/neuter camps, promoting humane sterilization for dogs and cats, and working towards a future where every animal can live without the threat of overpopulation.
Monthly Sponsors via Patreon.com: Monthly sponsors are the lifeblood of our sanctuary. Your recurring support ensures a stable foundation to provide food, shelter, and medical care for our dogs, today and tomorrow. Even a small monthly donation can make a world of difference.
One-Time Donations: We understand that not everyone can commit to monthly donations. Your one-time contribution, however, can provide an immediate lifeline to help us navigate this challenging period while we seek more support.
In our rural corner of Thailand, where resources are scarce, your generosity shines even brighter. Our dogs depend on you, and so do the countless animals we plan to help in the years to come.
Here's How You Can Help:
Become a Monthly Sponsor on Patreon.com: Visit our Patreon page and pledge your monthly support. Every dollar counts, and your recurring contribution ensures the long-term well-being of our furry family. We have options from $5 to $100 and recommend just $20 per month to keep one special dog safe, enriched, and nourished for the month. Click here to sponsor our dogs.
Make a One-Time Donation: If you're unable to commit monthly, consider making a one-time donation. Your support can help bridge the gap during this challenging time. You can donate here or via our website.
Share Our Cause: Spread the word about our sanctuary. Tell your friends, family, and fellow animal lovers about our mission. Together, we can make a difference. Click here for our Facebook page and click here for our Instagram.
Please, don't let our sanctuary close its doors. The dogs are counting on us, and together, we can ensure they have a safe and loving place to call home.
Every act of kindness brings us one step closer to securing a brighter future for our dogs, our clinic, and our community. Your support is a lifeline, and it means the world to us.
With heartfelt gratitude and wagging tails,
Denise and the SAS family
