Hello everyone, recently my older sister has been in a deep depression. she really needed something to lift her up, so her boyfriend decided to get her a pitbull puppy. shortly after having the puppy, we could tell the difference in my sisters moods. she was starting to come out of her depression more and more every day. this puppy became a huge part of her life in such a short amount of time. she spent every day playing with the puppy and taking care of it. she treated it like a baby. a few days ago we noticed that the puppy was getting very sick. we decided to take her to a family friend who is a vet, to see if she knew why the puppy was sick. she came to the conclusion that the puppy had parvo, and most likely got it from eating another dogs feces when my sister took it on walks. we asked how much it would cost to bring her in and to treat this sickness because we knew it was deadly and didn't want to lose the dog, it would crush my sister. she gave us an estimate of about $1500. Me and my sister live with our retired grandmother, who barley makes enough to get us by, so she is really unable to afford this. me and my sister cannot get jobs do to us being in school, and even if we did it would be very low paying and we probably wouldn't be able to afford this fee. i've thought of selling some stuff on ebay but i don't really have anything worth 1500. this is basically the only way i can think of getting any money to treat her. i feel really bad having to ask people for money, but i have no other option. anythings that is donated will be beyond greatly appreciated. thanks to everyone!
