Baby Lyueann Xaviel is my niece. Her mother is a full-time housewife and her father works in a construction firm as a helper.
In September 2014, Lyueann Xaviel was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease (Perimembranous Ventricular Septal Defect), 5 months after her birth. For those who are not familliar about this defect, it is a ventricular septal defect or VSD - a birth defect in which there is a hole in the wall (septum) that separates the two lower chambers (ventricles) of the heart. Attached herewith are the results of Xaviel's checkup last September and other medicine prescribed by her pedia.
Doctor Mateo, one of the few well-known medicine professionals from the town of Morong in Rizal, Philippines prescribed a medicine that might help Xaviel to at least recover from this defect. For a week, Xaviel was observed of possible changes on her situation.
Unfortunately, nothing happened. The only way that a poor baby like Lyueann can recover is through a major operation.
According to doctors, the hole in the heart is a very serious problem especially for infants like Xaviel, hence the dire need for a major operation as soon as possible. They also mentioned that at least Php500,000 is needed to set the operation, plus medicine is needed during the recovery period of Lyueann Xaviel. However, if Charity from the Philippines will help, at least half of that bitter amount will be reduced.
Today, October 2, 2014 - Lyueann Xaviel had just been confined in Rizal Provincial Hospital in Morong, Rizal due to difficulty in breathing.
I can't help her financially, so I have decided to publish her story online so i can easily ask help from my friends and kind-hearted readers that might read this post.
More updates about her condition will be posted also on her Page: www.facebook.com/saveourbabyxaviel
