SAVE OUR LITTLE WARRIOR

We are knocking in your humble heart to please help us fund our Baby Thalia Ysabelle hospitalization bill.

When God hears the prayer of my brother (joseph) and her wife (sharmaine) to bear a child, it was the amazing day of our life. Everyone was shouting in happiness. It was the first granddaughter/niece of our family, same as in the side of her wife. That is why they decided to have a private doctor to monitor the baby and her wife. Within nine months everything was smooth and normal.

Last December 23, 2018 the water bag of her wife broke. She was admitted one of the Maternity Home here in Cebu. The doctor keeps on doing an internal vaginal examination. It takes 15 hours in laboring to get the exact measurement. But sadly the doctor take another 2 hours before they made the decision that she needed to have cesarean section because of the abnormalities they had seen during her laboring. When she urges to push the baby out, the heart rate of Baby Thalia become low.

During her operation, they had seen that the cause of the abnormalities of her heart rate was because it's short spiral cord and placenta abruption.

After the successful operation, the baby was placed inside the incubator with oxygen because she cannot breath in her own, normally. It takes 1 and a half day before the nurse let her wife enter the nursery so that she can feed Baby Thalia.

December 25 and 26, 2018, everyone was hoping and praying that Baby Thalia will be discharged together with her mother. Everything was still smooth and fine.

December 27, 2018, my sister-in-law was discharged but sadly the baby was still confined because of her difficulty in breathing and she needs to undergo more tests. That time the doctor also explained to them that there are three possible reasons what happened to Baby Thalia;

(1) Maybe the baby had eaten the dirt of the mother inside the womb.
(2) Maybe because of the placenta abruption.
(3) Maybe the baby had a heart disease or she could have a down syndrome.

That time, no words can express what we feel. It was like the Earth was slowly crumbling beneath our feet. Faith, was the only thing we have.

December 28, 2018, somebody from Maternity Home called that my brother and her wife needs to go there immediately. The doctor stated that Baby Thalia was bleeding and her difficulty in breathing was getting worst. She needs to transfer into a hospital where they had equipment and facilities that could help her.
