Hi my name is xxxxx and I have been homeless for 3 years my landlady passed away, and I was unfairly evicted from the grounds of rent arrears, which was not true it was just an excuse to get rid of us. Medway council declared me something called ‘intentionally homeless’. I had just set up my own business and was renting a 3 bedroom house for my family I have a 5 year old daughter, who was homeless with me for 2 years before social services intervened and removed her from my care as I was unable to provide a safe place for her. I have approached Medway council constantly as well as 2 other burrows begging for their help , but this term ‘intentionally homeless’ has constantly led to me being refused help and support. I have lost everything, and my family has been truly broken to pieces. I also lost my dog, who I was incredibly close with

I met a lovely man, who saved my life he is an ex-service man who was injured in a bomb blast, and is now retired, and suffers with PTSD, COPD, bi-polar, agoraphobia. As a result of this we live on a boat on the river Medway, away from the world. We are in need of financial assistance to keep our boat. The authorities have moved us 5 times and we don’t belong anywhere. They are now threatening to take our boat if we do not move our boat is ex-royal navy, and a piece of our history. She’s a bit bashed up, with no engines, but it is our home, our safe place. Our only option is to find a mooring, which requires a deposit and a months rent in order to move there. We also need to be towed by a tug boat, as we have no engines.

We are being evicted on Sunday.

if we manage to move our home to a mooring, we will have running water and electricity, luxuries that we cannot afford at present. This will enable me to restart my life and fight to get my daughter back by starting up my business again, which is now going to be a boat restoration company any support or help anybody could give us, would be truly, gratefully received this will allow me to bring my family back together again many thanks in advance.
