These are our furbabies. They have been saved from being bred for profit, saved from dying on the streets, and saved from unfit owners.
We recently learned that our landlady will be opening up her property to the market. Since we have been renting for a long time, and have been taking really good care of her house, it was offered to us first.
Unfortunately, if we can’t come up with the sale price in such a short time, she will be forced to offer the house elsewhere. With that being said, we would need to move out and find another place to rent.
Finding a rental home in the Philippines that allow pets is hard enough -- finding a rental home that allows seven is almost impossible.
Unlike many families who would risk leaving their pets to a shelter or pound (or worst, the streets) when moving, we don’t have the heart to just leave our rescues behind.
Being able to purchase the house will secure a home for us and our furbabies permanently.
Please help us gather enough funds to make this possible.
Who we are?
We are Aicx and Sheryll from the Philippines, and we have a really big space in our hearts to save animals who have lost their homes, been given up, and have nowhere to go.
We have been together for over ten years, and have shared the passion to always be of help to those who are in need. We have been rescuing for seven years now. Along with our rescued furbabies, we have also rescued a few cats and birds before.
Fortunately, none of them have had any critical medical conditions under our care. We are always trying to give the best life that we can afford for them.
We used to work in the corporate scene, working odd hours and random shifts. But because of some health concerns, we opted to work from home. Losing our home will not only affect the well-being of our dogs, but our personal well-being, and sadly will greatly affect our job that is the sole source of income at the moment.
How much we need?
The total funding we need to come up is at around $36,000 in less than two months. This amount will cover the purchase of our home, hopefully make more space for the furbabies, and for their medical upkeep.
A big thank you to those who will be heeding to our call for help. All the best to all of you, and please share to your friends and families as well.
