Save our home!!

Thank you everyone for reading. We need assistance in saving our home from foreclosure. This is a very embarassing and stressful situation and we are turing here as a last resort. We have been in our home long enough for this to be the place that our children call their childhood home. We got behind in our mortgage payments, and with little help from the Loan servicing agency, have gotten to a point where it maybe foreclosed upon. We will have no where to go. My husband has many medical issues which keep him from working. He is a Juvinile Diabetic who gets continuous insulin through a pump. He has had a heart attack and a stroke. His health is considered brittle, and he requires a lot of medication and medical care. In October of 2012 we found ourselves without medical insurance. We have plugged along and struggled through for quite a while.

Last summer my job cut my hours and therefore my income. With his prescriptions and medical equipment needs exceeding $2000 a month, we quickly went through any money we had and we fell behind. In August we got medical insurance and this has been a blessing. However, by then we were two months behind in the mortgage. In trying to make arrangements with the Loan servicing agency, understandably the repayment plan was more than the regular payments. We struggled to make the new payments to get back where we needed to be, but then an unexpected mechanical occured with our only vehicle.... a 1994 chevy pickup. The truck is in great shape, but the clutch needed replacing and cost $1000. Living in Alaska, and not right in town, the vehicle is a must to work. So, the mortgage suffered again. The loan servicing agency gave me another payment plan, a little higher for 9 months and we were off again. This repayment plan was the only option we were offered, and so it was the deal we made. This was a payment that no matter how hard we tried, it was unattaniable.

The loan servicing agency stopped taking my phone calls. I was never able to reach the one person who was in charge of my account, and advised this person was my only 'point of contact'. I called everyday, sometimes a few times a day with no luck. Now my home is in foreclosure. I need to comeup with a lump sum in order to have the loan re-instated. We are desperate! I now have a job with insurance and I can cover all of our bills, however, it may all be in vain as there maybe no home to live in. This whole thing has ruined our credit, and saving for somewhere new is impossible. We are putting every penny we can into this, but we need help. If anyone can offer some assistance it would be appreciated. We believe in paying it forward, and we do wherever and when ever we can. Please help, and thank you for taking the time to hear our story.
