Save Our Family

"It's been a struggle since I was 19 to now. I'm at my limit." 

Hello Everyone! My name is Bianca Dae Bratton. I am nineteen and the youngest of my family. The quote above is what just came from my mother's mouth barely an hour ago. 

Our Family is hanging on a thin string and who knows when it will snap. My mother is the only substantial worker in our huse f 5 "adults". She's suffering from diabetes and deoression and all I want to do is helo her. Her pain is cutting my heart and it makes me nauseous to think that she is so disgusted with her life. 

Our "home" looks like after the hurricane that never hit. Broken tables and used TVs that don't work fill our living room and dining room area. The showers are barely working and out toilets are slow. I know she;s uncomfortabl and we're all unhappy so this is my time to make a change. 

I'm going into my sophomore year of college this fall, so I don't have much time, but I want to bring my family some peace. SO, what I plan to do with any money I raise is to "rebuild". I want to use it to pay off one of my mother's bills and use the rest to repaint the house and replace some of the broken tables and chairs. 

All I can ever hope is that my mom can be happy to be home, that my parents won't fight over the bills, and that my brother can focus on his life rather than working at Walmart in order to help out around the house. i'm taking baby steps, but I'm hoping by next year my family can get back on it's feet, rather than be in the same miserable state it's in now.
