The mentality of people in Greece regarding stray cats has not show a remarkable improvement over the years...

We are a group of 7 women fighting the impossible.....We try to give cats that no one wants, either disabled or old, a safe environment and if possible, help them find their forever home. Our shelter, an abandoned old house, located in Athens, provides a safe and ...hopefully... happy home for 32 kittens and cats. With little to no support from the municipality and with lots and lots of love and patience, we manage to provide their daily meds and special care.

Our lovely fur family comprises of 32 cats: 6 sight impaired, 2 three legged, one paralysed, one 18year old, 2 diabetics, one with chronic skin disease, one with head trauma, one with neurological issues, two with hardly any teeth, a lot of older cats and tiny kittens that wait impatiently for their human!

Our goal is to a) provide treatment for those who need special care & handling and b) find suitable homes for adoption.

At the moment, the daily needs of our shelter are calculated at 10€, including cat food, clinical cat food, medications, cat litter and cleaning supplies. Every cat bed, every toy is either donated or handmade. We rely on donations and the scarce help from the municipality for vaccinations and neutering.

Please help us continue our work. Please help us keep our shelter running, especially for the “unadoptable” ones that no one else wants to take in.

Every donation counts! 1,2 € is a can of food that they crave!

See the pictures and meet our cats! Message us if you are interested in adopting!
