Save my sight

I am starting this 'Save my sight' fundraiser to help raise money for my dad. My dad has worked his whole life, raised a family along side my mum, worked three jobs at one stage and had many obstacles in between. One of these major obstacles, was my mum being diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells. Naturally this was a shock and affected our family dramatically. Long story short, my mum is a survivor today which I'm very happy to say, but continues to live with the cancer. However, my dad had days off as well as us family and we had to use savings over the years to pay hospital bills etc.....it was very hard financially for us all but we are getting ourselves on our feet again.  Recently my dad had to stop work due to his Sight. We have hit a financial stint again. We managed to pay for one eye to be operated on but he needs the other eye done in order for him to get back to work. We need at least $2500 to get it done otherwise it's a 18month wait.we really can't afford to wait those months or he could lose his job and it would be a struggle to keep the mortgage. We have done garage sales, raffles and working extra hours just to get by but need some more help. We would appreciate your help and any donation is ever so helpful.
