Help Michael beat blindness.

A 26 year old young man, living in Boksburg, South Africa, is racing against the clock to beat blindness from the Keratoconus eye disease.

In the left eye he is already fully blind and the right eye is getting progressively worse, only this cross-linking procedure can stabilise progressive Keratoconus and iagtrogenic ectasia. This eye disease is making it extremely difficult to do his work in detail DB board design and participate in society overall.

Keratoconus eye disease a progressive eye disease that distorts the cornea into a cone-like shape and distorts vision and it cannot be corrected with eye glasses. One of the only other options is to wait for a cornea transplant which has an extremely long wait-list and by then it could be too late.

Give to this campaign to cover the costs for Michaels surgery, that can halt the progression of the eye disease and to be able continue along his career path as planned.

The funds donated will be spent for the cross-linking Epi-off, the hospital fees and the Corneal Ring which all amounts to R28400.*

Michael also will not be able to work for 6 months after the procedure according to the doctors recommendations for recovery and this will cause great financial strain on the young man.

So any donations above the goal amount will go towards helping Michael through the recovery months and getting him back into the work force.

All Donations are Welcome!

*The amount is specified in dollars for paypal purposes as the ZAR currency is not recognised, therefore R28400 is 1850 US dollars.
