Scholarship at stake

Please take the time to read this to help me save this scholarship to start taking action to persue my dream! this is reaching an urgent state since time is running out and I am getting barely any support and my scholarship expires on the 5th of January 2016 :(( unfortunately I just cannot afford this alone. I need all the help I can get because this is almost once in a lifetime opportunity for me which I simply can't miss. My name is Krystal Coetzee and I am 16 years old living in a small town in South Africa.

I am a dedicated dancer who has a crazy passion for dancing!

I attended an audition for the American Academy of Ballet Summer school achieving a scholarship which merely covers 40% of the course I hope to be attending in June 2016. Both of my parents are pensioners and thus can realistically not afford the costs involved.I live in a small town called Knysna in South Africa where opportunities like these are scarce almost once in a lifetime ,therefore I really want to make use of the one I have.

I desperately need help to raise funds for: flights from South Africa and back, 6 weeks of accommodation on campus ,visa costs and the 60% cost left of the course which is to be held at Purchase State University, New York 2016.

It is also a race against time since a third of the course funds need to be paid before 5th January 2016 otherwise I will lose my scholarship.

The funds are used for the following:

-flight tickets too and from New York

-the 60% left to pay of the $6800 course since scholarship takes off 40%.

-visa and passport costs

-accommodation on university campus

Dreams aren't meant to be followed they are meant to be chased. This is a very big opportunity for me since it can start off my dancing career to one day perhaps be able to share my experience and knowledge with little girls and aspiring dancers or choreograph productions for big companies.

Dancing is my deepest passion, I can't go half an hour without doing some strange dancer thing or flexing and pointing my toes. I want to use this opportunity to get my career started and to come back and share what I learn with the dancers from my town.

A door is already opened for me all I need is your support to get through it.
