In 2002 my husband left the family home and never came back, he left my daughter without a father at the age of 4. In 2010 we found out that he had died giving my daughter no chance of ever building a relationship with him. His funeral was the first time she had seen any of her family since he had left. She believed that she could build a relationship with her aunties, uncles, cousins, half sisters and brother. However, a couples of months after the funeral we received a letter from my step daughters solicitors stating that we would soon have to move out of our home as my husband left all his assets to my step daughters and nothing to our child. We have been in a 5 year legal battle ever since and soon found that me being his widow was not going help us as my step daughter is the executor of his will. I myself have cataracts and I have lost 70% of my sight so my daughter does most things for me including writing this. We couldn't afford to have a solicitor anymore so my daughter also represents the two of us in court, a lot of pressure on a 17 year old. Yesterday my daughter asked her half sister what she could do to keep her home and they said they wanted £40,000! We can't afford a solicitor let alone pay out all that money. We tried to get loans but they refused because of my condition. Which is why we are turning to the generosity of the general public to help us, nothing is too small every little bit will help, you are our only way out of this and we have hope in God that we are blessed with an angel
