This fund raiser was created for Dan Jotham Clemente Salvador. He is 5 years old and suffering from a congenital hear disorder called TOF (Tetralogy of Fallot). This is his story.
His Parents went to Thailand in 2012 with the hopes of experiencing great things and start life as a family. At 9:00 AM on May 3, 2013 Dan Jotham Clemente Salvador was born to parents Carmine and Jordan. However what was supposedly a happy celebration of life turned to worry. We was placed in the Intensive Care Unit with tubes all over him in an incubator supporting his life.
After 4 days of painful waiting I was able to hold my son. At that my moment I knew that my son was brave and wants to experience life. As soon as he reached 1 year old, he immediately underwent a surgery called BT Shunt. This will at least provide proper oxygen saturation to his blood. The surgery was successful but will be temporary.
Over the last 4 years he has consistently gone to check-ups, echo-cardiogram and cardiocatheterization. In 2015 after two days after his treatment he experience heavy nose bleeding. It was a painful day at the Hospital ER. He was so weak that he cannot even cry anymore. After a week of painful wait we finally get to be with him and go home.
Every year we celebrate his birthday with Joy and hope that soon he will be fully recovered and well and grow up to be a normal kid. Normal where he can watch cartoons, enjoy riding a bike and travel to see the world.
Now that he is turning 5, the doctors have discussed to do total corrective surgery. After further discussion the amount needed was overwhelming. And now we need your help in our attempt to fund the surgery and recovery of our little angel. We appreciate any support that can be provided in this journey as we aim to get it all done and as a great gift for his upcoming birthday.
