Save my family from the street

We live in Iceland and it is really a beautiful and peaceful country but it also very expensive, we pay very high taxes (45%) and houseloan interest rates are about 10-12%. I can not work because of my lungs (emphysema) and my husbands salary is not enough right now. If we sell our apartment and start to rent, it will be even more expensive. I will be very greatful for every single penny that I can get. Thank you very much for your time and help
