Campaign Story
I know not everyone have recovered yet from the pandemic caused by COVID-19, but we are humbly knocking on your kind hearts to help us raise funds for my mother, Marivic Laud, for her much needed hospital bills and medicines. We don't know what else to do that's why we decided to go online in the hopes that some generous hearts can help us.
We are having difficulties in our financial situation because we've been in and out of the hospital since she was diagnosed with pneumonia last year and at the same time my sister was also diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. We are struggling now because we have already exhausted all of our resources.
This is now our fifth admission since last year. Today is our 10th day in the Hospital and my mom is still in critical condition. The doctor said that her left lung had totally collapsed. Since my mom's breathing is still supported by a ventilator, we are transferred at the aircon room with SP because my mom can't stay at the ICU due to her bedsore. The SP cost Php100.00 per hour. We need also to provide all the medicines recommended by the doctor, especially the antibiotics and norepinephrine. She needs 4 ampules of norepinephrine everyday to maintain her blood pressure or else she will suffer a cardiac arrest once the blood pressure goes down and 1 ampule cost Php1,000.00.
So, we continue to ask for the help of everyone to keep this campaign active by continuously sharing this to all the people you know. Just by simply sharing would mean a lot to our mom's life. And to those who are capable of sharing any amount, WE THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.

It's just so hard to accept that she's gone now.February 23, 2021.. 8:45pm...was when her heart stopped beating.. That. . . . .

Update posted by Cherry Viel Laud at 01:52 pmJanuary 28, 2021, we were discharged from the hospital. We were given take home meds and were advised to have a follow up check up by February 2. We stayed at home and continue taking her prescribed medicines. My mom is doing her best to stay strong as she could.. . . . .

As we enter the Pulmonologist's clinic, he noticed right away my mom's eye and asked if she has thyroid problem. I could not answer, I look at my mom and. . . . .

The doctor said that the Cytology Report could not commit if the cells found is Malignant or not. Since she have nodules on her lungs, though the report could not commit for Malignancy,. . . . .
She Started To Feel Weak Again

She Started Losing Her Voice...
Update posted by Cherry Viel Laud at 01:03 pmJuly, 2020 : She Started Losing Her Voice..The second admission for the another Ultrasound Guided Thoracentesis was postponed due to our financial incapacity until it was cancelled due to restrictions on admissions, lockdown and transportation freeze caused by COVID-19.My mom started losing her voice and suffered persistent cough with phlegm.. . . . .

On the x-ray result the doctor found pleural fluid on her left lungs and. . . . .
